Developing overseas cardiac capability

The vision of Chain of Hope is for all children around the world to have access to the cardiac treatment that they so desperately need.That’s why we are busy building local, sustainable, cardiac services in countries which don't have the skills or facilities needed to save young lives.

We do this by:

• Bringing together world-leading doctors, nurses and medical experts to mentor the local team through surgical and interventional missions
• Training local medical teams through both onsite and overseas training programmes
• Building the infrastructure necessary to sustainably support cardiac services
• Provision of specialist medical equipment and vital supplies
• Lobbying governments and institutions to provide high level political support for cardiac services
• Working towards the prevention of neglected diseases through small scale research projects
