Join Team Chain of Hope - Take part in any activity to get your heart racing and raise money for children with life-threatening heart disease!

What is the 15-Minute Challenge?

The 15-Minute Challenge will run from 1st September and end on 29th September, coinciding with World Heart Day. This campaign aims to spread awareness of heart disease and Chain of Hope's work to help alleviate the inequalities of cardiac care around the world. The campign encourages our supporters to partake in a 15-minute activity every day and raise crucial funds for children in developing and war-torn countries. The choice of 15 minutes represents the 15 million children that die or remain severely ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases.

How to get involved:

We welcome all ages, abilities and activities – anything from walking and swimming, to yoga and hula-hooping in your living room. Each day can be the same action or a different one. All you have to do is be active for 15 minutes every day from 1st September until and inclusive of 29th September (ending on World Heart Day)!

Here are three easy steps to take part:

  1. Figure out what activities you’d like to do throughout the month.

  2. Set up your fundraising profile on our JustGiving page here, and share the link with family & friends.

  3. Get ready for your most rewarding month yet, starting on 1st September!

There are no rules, so feel free to get your blood pumping with whatever you can do – be active, have fun, and donate what you can to help save the lives of children in developing and war-torn countries with heart conditions – you can read about just some of the children we have saved so far here.

Don’t forget to spread the word on your social media and tag @ChainofHopeUK and #ChainofHope #COH15MC so we can share your daily activity!

If you don’t fancy getting a sweat on, you can just click here to donate £15 or set up a monthly donation of £15 instead.

How taking part in the 15-Minute Challenge will help

The money you raise will help transform a child’s life. Donations raised can help to fund every element of our global heart operation missions, from alife-saving heart surgery, to flying out and training volunteer cardiac teams.

Your support will have an incredible, long-life impact on the children suffering from heart disease and their families.
