Chain of Hope relies on medical volunteers to offer their skills and expertise in order to carry out our training programmes and medical missions.

We are currently recruiting for volunteers from the following specialities

  • Cardiac Surgeons
  • Cardiac Anaesthetists
  • Cardiac Intensivists
  • Cardiac Intensive Care Nurses
  • Biomedical Engineers
  • Perfusionists
  • Cardiac Theatre Nurses

Volunteering usually involves a week of surgical or interventional catheter activity in an overseas country.

Chain of Hope covers all expenses, including accommodation, airfares, travel insurance, local travel and all meals.

In order to volunteer, there is a registration process where you will be asked to provide the following documents:

  • Current Medical License (where applicable)
  • Degree Certificates (where applicable)
  • Professional References
  • DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
  • Curriculum Vitae
